aboutNWRA.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. aboutNWRA.com collects information from our visitors at several different points on our website.

In order to use portions of this website, a Member must first complete a registration process. During registration a Member is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the Member about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. It is optional for the Member to provide other personal information (such as SIC codes and insurance agent names), and unique identifiers (such as policy numbers ), but encouraged so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site.

Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the Member therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Tell-A-Friend and Grassroots Networking

If a Member elects to use our referral service for informing a friend or their agent about our site, we ask them for the friends name and email address and/or physical address. National Wedding Retailers Association  will automatically send the friend an invitation to visit the site. National Wedding Retailers Association  stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time invitation. This Web site takes every precaution to protect our Members' information. Our databases are secure, and do not have a direct link to the Internet.

All of our Members' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a Member Service Representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new company policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our Members' information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.

Supplementation of Information

In order for this website to properly fulfill its obligation to our Members, it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from third party sources.

For example, to determine if our Members qualify for one of our  programs, we use the information that has been provided by the Member.

At no time does National Wedding Retailers Association  permit the involuntary exchange of your information with any other National Wedding Retailers Association  Member not explicitly authorized by you. Similarly, National Wedding Retailers Association  will not permit you to involuntary exchange the information of any other National Wedding Retailers Association  Member.

In order for this Web site to enhance its ability to tailor the site to the individuals preferences, we will data mine  trading patterns of Members with similar information from vendors and Associate Members. The data mining results are used to inform Members of insurance markets, products and resources only. 

Special Offers

We may send new Members a welcoming message to verify Member Login and Password. Established Members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and/ or a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our Members we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our Choice/Opt-out section below.

Site and Service Updates

We also send the Member site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the Member to provide requested services, and in regards to issues relating to their account via messaging or by phone.

Correction/Updating Personal Information:

If a Member's personally identifiable information changes (such as the zip code), or if a Member no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove the Member's personal data. This can be done, by messaging our Member Support Representatives or calling toll free 1-800-942-2729.

Choice/Opt-out

Our Members are given the opportunity to Opt-out of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information.

Members who no longer wish to receive promotional materials from our partners may Opt-out of receiving these communications by messaging us at info@aboutNWRA.com.

Members of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our Members can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our Members are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we would notify Members by way of database messaging. Members will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

National Wedding Retailers Association  Right to Restrict Services

National Wedding Retailers Association  reserves all rights to limit, suspend, or prohibit access by any Member to the restricted capabilities of its Web site at any time in its sole discretion. National Wedding Retailers Association  may provide an explanation for a decision to restrict access but is under no obligation to do so. The right to restrict services of a Member is deemed by the Company as an extreme remedy, but one that is consistent with National Wedding Retailers Association's responsibility to protect the integrity of the professional comportment of the site. National Wedding Retailers Association  holds as one of its first obligations to Members: to foster an environment within its site that makes it a secure and safe destination. 

In the event that National Wedding Retailers Association  invokes its right to restrict access to services, the Member affected will be entitled to an immediate or pro-rated return of any connectivity fee credits on their account.

Member User Right to Access Records

While we may restrict functions and services on the site, at no time will National Wedding Retailers Association  unreasonably preclude a Member from accessing the data specifically associated with their Member account. Upon request National Wedding Retailers Association  will convey electronically all data associated with a Member account.

References to Third Parties or other Member Users

At no time will National Wedding Retailers Association  provide references or performance assessments of Member activities to any third party or any other Member (e.g., we will not provide a vendor with information pertaining to a retailers behavior, their marketing practices, closing ratios or other professional sales strategies available to them on the National Wedding Retailers Association site).

National Wedding Retailers Association, if asked, will confirm only the status of a Member as active or inactive.

National Wedding Retailers Association  cannot be held responsible for the ability of a Member to restrict access to their own account.
